Jogmai River, Ilam

Jogmai is one of the main river out of four secret rivers in Ilam District. The river strats from Tumling hilltop of Singhalila ranges and mixed with mai river in Maibeni valley near Tilkeni and Namsaling as well as Godak villages. It is holy river for piligrims who worship the water. Fish and sea otter are found there. Farmers use the river for irrigation and other purpose. Hydro-power has been produced there.
