Due to the various climates in Ilam, different types of plants are found. Green grass, moss, herbs naturally grow in the hills. There are community forest and small patches of private forests. Vanes and vegetables are found in the jungles. Oak, Ash Fir, Pine, Primelia are main trees of hills. Rhododendron is the national flower. The biggest tree of rhododendron is in Mangalbare, Ilam.
