It is a majour natural place to visit of Mai Majhuwa Village
of Sandakpur Municipality in Ilam District, Mechi Zone.This is the tallest
waterfall in Ilam District and is the second highest fall of Nepal. The water
fall has 280 feet hight which is situated about 40 kilometer to the west of Mai
Khola river in the middle of dense forest, an elevation 1600 meter from the sea
level. It has very pleasant atmosphere, Rainbow can b seen in the sunny day
which looks very wonderful scene. The water fall is the home of different rare
species where a lot of visitors from different place come to observe the
natural water fall and studies the rare species. Beside of this, spectacular view
of natural landscapes, green hills srounding can observe. We can reach wither
4/5 hours walking form Ilam Bazar or about one hour drive from Fikkal to Mai
Khola via Nayabazar then an hour walking from Mai Khola. Best time to visit is
March, April, September and October.
