Deumain is important river in the south west of Ilam. It is supposed to be holy stream. Gajurmukhi Tenple is on the bank of Deumai River. Deumai Valley is useful for paddy farming and fishing. The river starts from Patenagi the north west of Ilam District. It joins with Mai River.
